About a month ago Tasha (will be 1 on the 26th) started bringing toys, bones whatever to Billy if I was trying to do one on one with him. Both dogs are trained to go away. They will either go out aways and lay down or just go about their doggie way. She has always done well with this command until recently. Now today she actually tackled him when I called him to me. I put her in the house and continued with Billy then let her back out. She has also started to push Billy away when he comes for attention. I don't like having to put her in the house but I don't want her bulling Billy either or disobeying a command. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. When other people are petting billy she will sit nicely waiting for her turn. Both dogs are treated as equal as possible.

Put one dog away while you work the other. MOST dogs will behave this way, they want the attention.

I never try to work a dog except ONE at a time.

Are you training them or just giving them attention? Because I don't think it's unreasonable to give one dog attention while the other can see you.

It sounds like resource guarding, to me, except the resource they're guarding is you. I have never read how to fix this, but I do know it's in the book "Mine!" by Jean Donaldson. You might want to check it out.
