it just breaks my heart knowing he is STILL at the humane society...he has been there for at least 2 months.
He is SUCH a sweetheart. He was really neglected apparently, but omg, does he LOOOOVE people, and playing. He is just such a goofball.
No one seems to want him though, and i just cant understand why! He is 4, potty trained, soo lovable, and surprisingly gentle. Every other dog i walk doesnt understand that running at full speed and jumping on a person isnt very nice, lol...he is just so good about that though...he wont do it!
Apparently, his biggest issue is that he umm...wants to attack cats, lol
Some family was gonna adopt him, but they had a cat, and the brought it in to meet him, and apparently it didnt go too well. People said the little girl was bawling, and she wanted to trade Artie for the cat, LOL!!!!
one of the other dog walkers to him up north with her and her dog, and he was PERFECT. perfect in the car, perfect in the house, perfect with the other dog. She said he barked twice the WHOLE time...both times alerting her of approaching people, which, once again is...perfect!
i think ppl may be avoiding him cause of his docked and shaved tail (although he still has half a tail)...cause he had "happy tail", he also has a patch shaved off his side when they were treating a skin irritation. Both are growing hair again now, so he looks A LOT better.
Just wanted to let people know about this amazing dog...so if anyone is interested...head on over to the Huron Valley Humane Society!!!
