Hi there! I'm new to the boards. I have a standard poodle and a chihuahua. I'm in love with the standard poodle breed and want to have more someday

My poodle is only 8 months old so we're still learning a lot and we've got a lot of training ahead of us!

Loyal Pup

I have a poodle growing up and it was the most loyal dog I've ever had. My best example is that I used to work at a beach that was a mile down the beach from where I lived. I sometimes walked down the beach, sometimes drove there from a different direction.

When I would drive, Dusty would run after my car as far as he could. 5 minutes later, he would be at the beach waiting for me. He had run a mile down the beach to greet me there when I arrived by car.

Wow, now that is loyal! I start getting all sentimental when he lays down and puts his head on my chest at night...I wonder if he'd follow me if he could =D
