Someone dropped off this puppy at the high-kill shelter I volunteer at. We're trying to figure out what breed he has in him. Does he look like he has any plott hound in him?

could be
plottX treeing walker, or various foxhound breeds
mt curX treeing walker or various foxhound breeds
could be a july foxhound X any of various foxhound breeds or treeing walker
could be treeing walker or foxhound w/ a touch of bull way back.

i'd love to run the little booger, but i am at max capacity for my situation right now.

and blackmouths too
the houndy looking ears are why i am sure there is hound in it, but the brindle has to come from somewhere. my first though was a treeing cur like the Amazing line which is walkerXmt cur
it COULD be a pure july foxhound but they don't usually have the white points.
might be easier to narrow down the likely candidates if we knew where in the world this pup is.

Hm, I didn't think of cur, but I can definitely see it in him now!

Pops, I'm in Mississippi. A bunch of hunting breeds running around here.

hard to narrow it down for your area because pretty much every breed of brindle hunting dog is common in MS. i think you could probably take July off the list though as they are more common up north where coyote dogging is most common.
