Voodoo has a small problem. This dog farts like a judge in a baked bean cookoff. We'll be driving happily down the road, then suddenly have to fling open all the windows and gasp for air. Or he'll be snoozing innocently next to the couch, then give off gas that makes us evacuate the room.

He's been eating Natural Balance Venison and Brown Rice for about a week. Is his stomach still not used to the new food? Should we give it more time? Or should I try changing his food?

I wouldn't change the food yet. He's probably still adjusting. Maybe give him yogurt (with live cultures) or acidophilus.

He is still in the adjusting stage..... who knows what he was eating before hand. I'd say give it another 2 weeks min... and things should improve. I would also add the yogurt for good measure :)

Yoghurt is a good suggestion.

So are digestive enzymes (health food store)

Gas X works WONDERS as well.

Our little guy was like that. (I had numerous posts about it, lol) We ended up switching his food after nothing else was working, and ended up on California Natural Chicken and Rice. His gas is GONE. I don't know what was in his old food that was causing it, since it was also chicken-based, but I'm just happy about the results. Good luck!
