I read somewhere on a site that they will remove dog and cat fur when their dead. LIke if you take your dog to be cremated some placed will remove their fur and then cremate your dog. IT's sad.

my god ......... i am almost overcome at this moment after taking a look at The Voice For Dogs website. I NEVER want to become accustomed to seeing this, or become so hardened that I would not be moved to take action. If we look at a site like this and do nothing.... then we may as well be condoning it and taking part in it. As cruel as it sounds, I am not as opposed to using the fur of animals that have been used for human consumption (it is common in Korea, Thailand and China) BUT it's the method of the death that makes me want to vomit!!! The death MUST be a humane one, with NO pain. I know most of you will not agree with me. But I understand that in countries where they do not have the area to raise herds of cattle for food, dogs, cats, rats and god only knows what else are used for human consumption. And so there MUST be animal welfare laws put into legislation in these countries just as there is in our own. WHY or HOW can anyone kill an animal by this method???
