Please pray for Kona

My baby is not well. I'm not sure what is the matter, and cannot find out until Monday. There are no E-Vets around here, and my vet just happens to be out of town at the moment. I'll call up a few others tomorrow to see what I can figure out.

If any of you have any suggestions, please tell me. I am really worried sick about her.

She is excessively drooling, so much that she soaked my blanket on my bed, a towel, and my mattress. She is also slow and lethargic, unwilling to eat or play, or even go out to the bathroom.

Please send some good thoughts, prayers, or anything that will help my baby. I am scared to death.

I think you should get her to a vet ASAP. Keep calling around someone will help you. I do not think you should leave it until Monday.

Drooling can be due to a number of things such as,

1. An obstruction in the throat area (has she been chewing on anything that could cause this)
2. It can also be a sign of poisoning (has she been anywhere new or possibly eaten something she should not have)

Found this page for you, might be some help, poisons at the bottom of the page
http://www.pets.ca/articles/article-firstaidk9.htm.

I know all this sounds scary but please keep carm and I will keep thinking of you both.

Please let us know she is ok.

OH my, thank you everyone.

I managed to get a hold of a vet that does house calls, and she is well. She just got into something that upset her tummy quite good. The vet gave her some stuff to make her hark, and she was fine after that and a good night's sleep next to me.

I was really worried! Thank you all so much for the good thoughts and prayers. They obviously helped :)

Oh! *sighs of relief* I was worried. Those signs didn't sound good at all....so remeniscent of more serious things. I bet you're doing a happy dance. So glad she's all right and feeling better.
