If all you want is a nice pet puppy I would suggest a shelter or rescue. At least then you can get a 'cheap' puppy and not encourage bybs and contribute to the over population problem.
I'll look around on nextday pets too.

Second Potential Breeder:
Puppies left: ? (At least two females)
Price: $600 to $700 each
Shots and Worms: Yes, up to date
Parents health certified: Probably, forgot to ask
Website: Yes
More info:
Another breeder I spoke to is very, very far away. She's in the coastal part of the state and I live in the northern part of this state. She seems like the type of breeder you guys would want me to buy from. She likes to breed "white german shepherds" and says both the female puppies left have the "white gene" in them. She has medical records and if I buy a pup from her, I get a puppy contract. She does have a website: GrannysGrandPuppies.com

I highly suggest finding a breeder that titles their dogs somehow and health tests, hips at the VERY least. Honestly, if you're just after a pet I highly suggest rescuing, especially because you've been very indecisive on breeds as it is.

Feeding time vs. exercise time don't matter too much, though many dogs like to have a little rest after eating.

No. No. No no no no no no.

Please, PLEASE read all of the stickies in this forum and The Breeding Ground. It seems like none of what we say is going through.

Take TIME and find a GOOD breeder if you have to go that route. Research your breed, meet the breeder, find out about what they've done with their dogs. It seems as though you're jumping into getting a puppy very quickly.

Doggie honestly, I think you should do your research and find a GOOD breeder (NOT ON NEXTDAY PETS, PUPPY FIND,etc..)

OR BETTER YET :) go visit your local shelter and find a dog there. there are so many GREAT dogs/puppies for adoption, and you may just well find a mix you LOVE

-She does not show her dogs or do ANY kind of activity or sport with them
- She does not health test her dogs (hip ratings, OFA, etc..). all she does is general vet care/checkups for the pups..which is MINIMAL
- The dogs themselves are obviously..well.. just look at them.
- she breeds for SIZE! her only male...
"Tripp is Big!!! I do not have a current weight, but I would guess he weighs well over 120 pounds."
same thing with the females, every dog is all about "shes huge!" etc..
and she doesnt even have current weights on ANY of them

120 pounds is not standard nor is it RIGHT/healthy for a GSD. Dogs bred for size/color with no health testing like she is doing are BOUND to have problems.

this is not a good breeder :/

Honestly, at this point, it seems like you just want a dog NOW and really don't know what you're looking for or how to look for it.

So I would recommend going to your local shelter and adopting a dog from there. You'll be doing a good thing in giving that dog a good home, won't be supporting crappy breeders and will have a better idea of the dog you are picking is a good fit for you or not.

Okay you guys, I took your advice and went to a humane society shelter. . .

And fell in love and so did my mother!

My mother fell in love with a border collie/ Golden Retriever mix. I admit they were cute.

But what I fell in love with was a Rotty/Cattle Dog mix. She was so cute! She's light brown with spots on her and she's playful and bad (bad as in little kid bad which is a good thing). She beat up her brothers.

I filled out an application, now to wait and see.

I don't mean to rain on your happiness, but do you have any experience with a Border Collie, Rotty, or Cattle Dog?

Yes. I have had experience with a border collie mix and a Rotty mix. I forgot to add "Australian" to Cattle Dog.

That sounds good. I'd hate for you to get a cute puppy now, and find out that it's going to need alot when it gets older.

I wish you the best with your new pup! :)

Update:
RRRRAAAA!
The person who approves adoption applications decided to take the rest of the week off. :( So I'll know by Monday or Wednesday whether or not I'll be taking home a puppy soon.

Here is a pic of the puppy I'm applying for:

She's bad: She beats up her brothers! I really, really hope my app is approved. I really like her.

Also, my sister is now interested in getting her daughter a puppy for her upcoming birthday. :D She's very interested in the beagle mix and border collie/ Golden Retriever mixed puppies that were at the shelter.
