Please Help Innova Reduced Fat Plus Cooked Chicken Breast

my i yr old sheltie seems to gain weight easy can i buy the low fat innova and add cooked ckicken breast for added protein. the innova reg is really high in cal , so i thought i would buy the low fat which is 18% protein, only 8% fat, but i would cook chicken breast and add some to it. can anyone help me before i order thanks!!!!!

I would just back off the amount of the regular Innova you're already feeding her, maybe toss in some green beans for a low-calorie "bulker" so she still feels full but will maintain weight.

thanks ill try that she eats anything. never gave her green beans but i bet shell eat them. i think ill get the frozen,but i can probably find fresh now at farmers market. thanks for answering me.

I have used green beans because they are easier for my dog to chew, sometimes if they dont chew the carrots up all that great they might not be broken down as well in their stomachs, stredding carrots or grating them would work great

You could also try Innova EVO Reduced Fat, which is 52.5% protein.

I'd suggest you check into the EVO reduced fat as well - or even the EVO.

I've had California Natural (the lamb & rice variety) recommended to me to help get weight off shelties. They have a low-cal version of it as well.
