Today was the annual toller walk in my area and of course I just had to go! It was great! Pit, who is normally extremely shy with other dogs, was fabulous. He ran around like a maniac the whole time but didn't interact much with the other dogs, but that's just fine by me.

I'm surprised at how huge Pit is. He's only 19 inches tall or so, yet somehow only a handful of other tollers were bigger than him, and there were LOTS of tollers (roughly 80 of them!) and he's still just a pup! Dear God, I got a giant.

Anyway, onto the pictures. There's a few shots of Zero and Pit at the end from another day.

We just arrived before the crowd of tollers arrived, so Pit had a zoomie-fest on the beach.

Pit has yet to learn to swim, but was very intrigued when the others went in.

At the end of the walk, we ran into the start of a pug walk. They all had little snow suits. Very very cute!

OK! I'm done. I didn't mean for there to be so much. I have about 4 times more pictures of the event on my hard drive.. but I was just really excited and had a hard time deciding which ones to share.
Next time I'll be kinder and weed through them a little better. :p

Oh yeah! I almost forgot. We got a couple videos of the event. You should hear those toller screams! http://youtube.com/profile?user=WoogieWoos

LMAO I loved them. I kept refreshing every few seconds to see if you had another post. :D

WOW at all the Tollers.. I've never seen nearly so much orange fluffyness! I love Toller faces, they're so unique. And is it just me, or are some of those pugs mammoths? It looked like one of them was knee high..

You're telling me! That one pug was massive! Mind you, it was incredibly overweight too, so that added to his giant appearance.

Looks just like my kind of a day! I wish there were Toller walks/get togethers around here. I'd absolutely love to do something like that. Do you know if BC will be having another one in the summer by any chance? I was thinking about making a trip over there anyway, and something like that would make it even better. Sounds (and looks) like you and Pit had a great day. He's such a beautiful pup... I love his coat. :)

That looks like so much fun! I love the first couple pictures, the scaling is just awesome on them!

I wish I could find an Aussie walk to get in on...
