Glad to see you have interest in the breed, but I must warn you......once you go pit you never go back! Lol

I recommend home raised rescue first (try www.petfinder.com)
if you can't find what you want and have to have a puppy try going to some akc shows you find some good Amstaff breeders there.

Juvee..why on earth are you breeding your PUP in five months? Dogs shouldn't be bred until they are AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF AGE...
did you health test your dog for virtually every disease/virus/health related problem possible? Is your dog temperament tested? Do you know the history of the parents? Is your dog show quality/ meets breed standards?

WHY ARE YOU BREEDING??? There are thousands and thousands..if NOT millions of pitbulls in this world that are being abused, neglected, or exploited...and too many of them don't even have a home to begin with...

Why add to the problem? FIX YOUR DOGS!!!

Excuse my question, I am not very familiar with Pitbulls. But aren't they said to be dog aggressive ? Doesn't that mean that they ahve to be the only pet in the house ?

4 u all pit lovers, I don't mean to say that Pits are bad .... :)

Now isnt that the truth, just when they start to be boneheads, they just look at you and melt you heart.

No problem....This is a common misconception. I have two Amstaffs (akc Pitbull) and they eat out of the same food dish (They each have their own but they tag team each dish). They have even shared the same rawhide together. They never argue but some times Athena is a little growly when Sal smells her butt when we first wake up in the morning, but can you blame her :p .

It is all in how you raise them, my 65lb muscular intact Male Amstaff submits to my mother's 35lb Male Cockapoo everytime we visit her. My Amstaffs are excellent with other dogs because I have socialized them correctly. The guy who lives next door to me has a Pit bull he got from the humane society that doesn't seem to know what aggressive means. He was bitten by a Cocker Spaniel at the park and he just stood there and looked like someone threw cold water him, no aggression what so ever.

I have had "Pit Bull" experts tell me never leave your Pit Bull alone with another dog, but I leave my alone together every day and they have been left alone with my mother's Dog, My Brother's dog, and my Sister's two dogs and never had a problem. Althougth one time I left Sal alone with my Aunt's Shitzu (17year old) and when we came back Sal and Reggie were laying together and Sal had been licking him....he was all wet...but he seemed to like it, he followed Sal everywhere after that.
