Yeah, there's gonna be a third one. It's called "At World's End". They're even thinking of making a 4th and 5th one. =O
And don't worry. Jack Sparrow is half of PotC, they wouldn't kill him.
^He doesn't have a plan. The only reason he did that is because it would be less lame than just sitting there and letting the kraken eat him. He accepted that he was going to die with his precious Pearl and he was inviting it, basically. He just wanted to end his life courageously.
I loved this movie...saw it at midnight on the first day it came out and got the DVD the first day it came out. I got Liars Dice, too. That is such a fun game.

I saw the 2nd one opening day that it came out in theatres. It was such a good movie. I've seen it a couple times since i got the DVD.
From what I saw in an article when the 2nd part came out, contracts were signed before the 1st movies was even released recruiting the actors to do 3 movies. The 3 parts were planned from the beginning. The rumors of a 4th movie were from a couple newspapers that weren't exactly credible. So who knows if there will be more than 3 movies. They've been good so far but I think more than 3 movies is a little overkill though.
