Pink Meat

Ha-ha, my mom wants to know if its bad to feed dogs half cooked sausages?..Like is it okay if its pink in the middle?..Thanks

I'd be more concerned about the salt and other stuff in a sausage- not the meat itself.

Just always make sure that any raw or semi-raw meat you give your dog has been frozen hard first.

I wouldn't feed sausages -- there are alot of spices in there that can be harmful. Raw pork is fine though .

As a treat, you have nothing to be concerned about - a good quality sausage is definitely better than all those crappy store bought treats chock full of sweeteners and artificial ingredients.

I wouldn't make it a main staple of the diet though.
