Finally got the pictures uploaded, unfortunately I cannot tell their quality on this laptop (the screen is weird) but here they are anyhow.

First off, Dakota in the truck, ready to go.

Sleeping on the way there

After being so good in the truck, he had to spaz out the moment he got the chance.

And play a game of frisbee....

...and play frisbee some more.

...and some more.

Finally, tired out enough to rest.

And then, it's time to stare at the people and freak them out with the huge tongue

Aww thank you guys! I trust you when you say they look clear.. This laptop monitor is so crappy I honestly cannot tell. :(

Cadence LOL You soooo do not want to live with his Ripliness. Although Dakota is making himself useful at our yacht club (where we are staying) and the people here might freak if you stole him, LOL. They have a very strict "leash law" there but have lifted it for Dakota because he is great at herding the geese away. We're going to talk to his breeder about starting formal training for this, he's fantastic at it and is fearless even in the face of those big, bossy geese (and OMG are they ever mean!!!)

Yeah Dakota! Geese are dangerous little buggers, he's got heart to stand up to them!!

Ripley *might* like it here you never know, at least he'd be able to boss poor Hades around! LMAO, Now Roxy, I don't think she'd be as inviting, you never know though she's a princess and she does need a prince! Ha Ha!

It sounds like you and the poochies are having a great time, you've gotta take some pics of Dakota vs. Evil Geese though! LOL

Those are coming tomorrow, maybe video too if you guys are on your best behavior. LOL. :D We are still awaiting approval from the board of the yacht club to make his job as Goose Removal Technician official . . . If he is accepted, they will post a notice stating that people are not to bitch incessantly about an offlead dog because he is working. People here have no lives - they wax their yachts, sit out in the sun and complain about every little thing... Dogs especially. :p
Sooo hopefully they will let me know about that by tomorrow. Dakota loves it, he paces up and down the shoreline constantly and makes sure that not one single duck or goose gets too close. You can just see him swelling with responsibility. Lmao.

Hey there's a good idea... wonder how much a vest like that would cost. I'm soo low on money right now.

Dakota is the Border Collie ambassador. He is able to charm nearly everyone he meets... In the day weve been here, I have had 4 people ask me who his breeder is and where they can get a dog "just like that one". LOL

I'm super lame I know, but I made Hades a coat, it's really inexpensive if you have a sewing machine, and for a vest I imagine you could just sew it by hand it wouldn't take long at all.

Hades had a winter coat so it required a lot of stitching for the stuffing.

If there's a fabric land nearby just get a meter of fabric. Orange is good for a working dog! LOL, I imagine a meter or two wouldn't be more than $10-$15.

A meter of velcro or buckles. The heavy duty velcro is about $5/m, the buckles are really expensive like $5 each!

Cut out the pattern, the two lips that come around to the chest, and the part for the body. I measured from the neck to the tail, and from the shoulder to the middle of the chest, took 2 inches off the shoulder to chest (you'll have velcro for that part and put some velcro/buckle in the girth, you could put two but the vest would be light and you the back buckle sometimes rubs against... well you know! LMAO

Buy some iron on letters, about 50 cents each and there you go!!!!

I know I'm super lame, but Hades needed a winter coat and the ones at the pet store were too gay, can you imagine Hades in leopard print! LMAO, he's already a puss!! haha, so seeing as his colours camo he got a camo coat that he puked on and I had to throw out... yeah TMI... LMAO

You should do it RD!!! It's super easy, than take a bunch of pics to help with Dakota pic withdrawl that we're all going through! LOL
