their gorgeous dogs, out of curiousity i know your a breeder what got you interested in malamutes? i like hearing about the nordic breeds because you never see them where i live.
Anna when I was about 10 (which will now be 40 years ago as I am nearly 50 now lol) my uncle brough a malamute over from Canada where he had been living for a few years, I fell in love with him, he did not grow old as he hadnt had the best start to life being badly bred he had many health problems but that did not effect what a stunning dog he was, years later I tried to get a malamute, but over here they were extremely rare, and what breeders there were would not sell to anyone that had never owned a northern breed type dog, so owing a mal was put on hold, I did get hold of a samoyed and stayed with that breed for over 20 years, during the time I had samoyeds I kept my interest in malamutes going, by going to shows etc watching them and getting to know what lines I liked, and who the breeders were of these lines. when my last sammy died, I could not face getting another and in fact said I would never have another dog I was so heartbroken, but after a few months my hubby said thats it, we cant go on like this you are not happy without a dog, so we are getting one, and this time we will get a malamute like we wanted all those years ago, so as I had already been watching and looking at the breeders I knew exactly where to go, which I did, and that was the start of my downhill venture into the world of mals lol bet your sorry you asked now lol.
