Update:

It's not official yet, but Steve has gone from "I'm leaning towards yes" to "Okay, let's do it. Let's keep him!" ... but no decision has been made yet because we need to see how the next few weeks goes.

Since this has become a "foster to adopt" situation, I'm calling him the name we agreed on - which is Haji. (pronounced "Hodgey" - it's an obscure anime reference.)

Doing a LOT of crate zen. I work from home, so dogs need to be silent in their crates. He's actually pretty good - settles in well, tucks himself in, and stays quiet.

He's a rockstar for his nails. Just put him on the grooming table and ground those suckers down!

For all his fault/quirks, he really does seem to be a good dog. We just need to work on his tendency to get overstimulated in public. That bully scream is just awful!

He's also iffy with cats, but I've rehabbed cat-iffy dogs before so I don't see it being a deal breaker. He's nowhere near as bad as Ronin was. He's rude with the girls, but he's young/recently neutered/untrained/new to the house.

He matches!

If anyone can make this guy feel welcome and fit right in, it's you and your crew :)

YES HAJI FROM BLOOD+ !!!!!!!! omg you're the only person I've met that even knows that anime exists! Help me come up with an ILP/PAL name for him please. ;)

It's settled, I'm moving and you can do this for Gavroche lol
Seriously, Ronin was BAD. Like shaking, screaming, gonna-kill-the-kitty bad. He was never perfect, but he was relatively safe around them after awhile. And Haji isn't nearly as bad as Ronin was.

I'm going to send Indy to you as well. What's your going rate for in home training? :p

Perhaps I'll just make a roundabout way to your house on my way to Colorado at the end of the summer....
