Has anyone shopped at www.petfooddirect.com the prices are really good. Is this a trustworthy company? I don't want to end up with bad food.

I checked their price on Natural Balance Venison and Brown Rice vs Petco and less than $1 difference on a 17 pound bag.. Add in the shipping, and Petco would be cheaper.

hm. That website is interesting. I get FRR for free shipping but on that site I could get Canadae around the same price. However the 2 week shipping is bad.

I think it is probably a good site if you live in an area where you can't buy the specialty foods or there are no Petcos and Petsmart stores.

I actually save money by ordering from petfooddirect. I'm in their 1 day shipping zone, so the cost of shipping isn't that bad. Additionally the food is cheaper than it is for me locally & I don't have to pay tax. They usually have at least 20 off, sometimes 22%. I have found that, in general, food ships within 5 days. If you order other items, say vitamins or toys w/ the food, it takes longer. I have been using them for at least a year and have been very happy with them.

For me it is a great place to buy my dogs' food... I have Canidae (40lb) on autoship and it comes like clockwork, every 3 weeks. I pay about $2 more a bag with shipping ($11) then if I bought it at my local store. But it will cost me more than that to drive to get it. I guess it all depends on where you live and what type of food you are ordering.
