I'm a bit confused. I thought that petfinder dogs are strictly rescue, animal shelter or humane society listings. Explain please?

Sometimes mills do get onto petfinder and sell but they are usually caught and taken down fairly quickly.

I highly doubt this is a mill selling since the dog is fixed and vetted and the fee is only 125$

I REALLY need to move before getting another dog. I'd love to have one now, but as it is here in this little 2 br apartment, we don't have room for much of anything.

I am not saying this dog is form a puppy mill, but when we were looking for our dog we came across a few (even spoke to some) that were clearly puppy mills on that site. And even though we wanted to save the dog, we did not want to support them in any way.
