I just got back from the Pet Expo and splurged on a couple beef knuckles and a TuffyTug toy. I've also got some NV Instinct samples (the Orijen rep was too busy to talk to) and info on a great agility place to take Sawyer back to.

Anyway, Virgo is gnawing on her knuckle like she's been paid to put a hit on it. Sawyer is distractedly munching on his...the neighbor lady has her cats out on the balcony so he keeps wanting to go say hi to them.

I'm also thinking of entering Virgo in the Dock Diving competition; they allow rank amateurs to come try their hand at it for only $20 and you have unlimited practice time between "waves" of competition! I just don't think I've got another round of parking fees to spend today...at any rate, I've got the info and I think it might be something she'd enjoy. She sure loves hitting the water at the park to retrieve the balls out there.

I went around and loved on a million rescue dogs there...especially the Mastiffs (another long-haired! This one was fawn and they had just gotten a brindle LH female in the other week), Dobies (even a red and blue one!) and the Aussies. There's nothing like a tiny little red merle girl climbing into your lap for a hug...and then you realize she's actually just after your coffee, LOL!

Found that a couple dogs I've been keeping track of in the shelters have been adopted and are doing just fine too. That was good to hear.
