So my dad is letting me borrow his credit card to buy Maya a dog tag.
Anybody have any sites that offer cute, good quality cheap dog tags?

Any recomendations. I want to be able to personalize it.

I have looked on Ebay and did a google search... but im just not seeing anything special... or they require an Ebay account and Pay-pal.. which I dont know anything about.

At Disney World, or something like that, they have Mickey Mouse tags, but, you want something special. My friend had a Mickey Mouse tag on her little dog. (and you don't want to go all the way to Disney Land/World. :p

Jennifer, check out www.boomerangtags.com - this is where I got all my dogs' tags. The CollarTags are great, but everythign they make is amazing. They're relatively inexpensive, and they have a lifetime guarantee.

If you want to see examples, I'll show you my Boomerang Tags!

I got Meg's from here, and I absolutely love it! I got her a custom one that says "Touch Junkie". Plus, I saw a picture of Cameron Diaz' dog in People wearing one, so clearly they are cool;) . I'm planning to get her a "Drama Queen" one as well.

You can see the tag in this shot; the other side has her name and number.

this is where I buy my dog tags too. Very satisfied. I use the slip on collar tags....I bet they are a couple years old and the writing has not rubbed off at all.

That's where I get all of Hannah's and even as boisterous and active as she is, they hold up remarkably well. Haven't had one break yet. They are thick and sturdy, and well priced for the quality.

i LOVE aussie pet tags!

thier tags hold up well, lots of font choices and images (computer engraving gives you LOTS of choices), tag sizes are great and lightweight and the colour is nice and bright. engraving is clear and deep. plus they engrave the backside at no extra cost.

i had 1 made a couple of years back, now im trying to save some extra fun cash to get vixie and dodger ones from there.

remember, prices are in australian dollar, so use any currency converter to find the actual US dollar cost, they do ship over here (and to the uk and all over the world) and i belive when i got mine it was 11.99 aud, which worked out at something like $8 or something like that. $10 covered everything including shipping!

(shipping was pretty fast from there I found)

The super expensive tags I posted are so drool worthy, but I don't spend money like that on me.... so..

I love Boomerang Tags. I just ordered two for my pup from there. They're the best quality tags I've ever had, and I'll never go back to another company. They last forever too. I don't like aluminum tags at all (like the ones in petstores), as they don't last overly long. My aluminum tags lasted about 7 months before I had to replace them. Boomerangs tags may not be the "prettiest", but they sure are extremely durable and readable even years later.

I think we have decided to go with the one from Ebay... I think they are really neat.

plus, it's only ten dollars. I will let you all know how it turns out.

I can wait ;)
*twiddles her thumbs in month 9 of waiting for her puppy*

On another site where I originally got the link, people loved them till price.. So I've never known anyone who even sort of considered one. be curious what one is really like. I'd be more tempted to wear it myself though, lol.

I second (or third or fourth?) the recommendation for Boomerangtags.

the one's ive tried to get (in a pinch) from petco, petsmart were all poor quality - one continually came out crooked, one wore off quickly...

Boomerangtags are AWESOME and i can actually fit them on their collars, and I love the FLAT ones that I can use on buckly collars! THEY ROCK. (And are oh-so-quick)
