This person with their *foo-foo* dog Rant

*no offence to anyone with a small dog*

So I took Chloe to petsmart tonight to get her a new duck  and to get a travel water thing (forgot what it was called) but anyways, we were getting ready to go down the treat aisle and there was this woman carrying around her white dog

She looked at Chloe and said to her dog, "that dog will eat you" meanwhile her dog is barking and growling and acting like a maniac  then they went to the next aisle and their was this family with this small dog in the buggy and she goes, "Oh what a nice doggy" to the little one.. but looked at me and Chloe like we were dirt....:(

I swear some people just make me

Aw, i'm sorry... Cody is a small dog, but I would never say that to someone! no offense to anyone, but big dogs are real dogs, LOL... Cody kind of seems like a cat to me. He's a floppy blob most of the time, and when he's not he's running away from strangers, LOL... Kind of a wussy, but it just makes me love him that much more!

Well, you can't blame me. I have Chihuahuas which range from 5 LBs to a Doberman at 95LBs. LOL. I've gone into Petsmart with the two Chi's in a basket and my Dobe on a leash and the responses from people are pretty amusing. LOL.

Oh not sweet good girl Chloe!!!!!!

Some people......

I had the excact opposite experience with Lizzie and small dogs.....

We are at petsmart at a training class and this couple is talking to the trainer about a class for there yorkie pup(which he NEEDED DEARLY!) who is barking and growling at Lizzie and the other girl's dog in the class and the owners are doing NOTHING and it looks like the dog is going to take a chunk out of the other girl's dog and Lizzie!!!!! SO my mom had to go up to the people and ask them them to move THEIR dog out of the way so we could enter the training ring!!! And then I think it took a bathroom break in the middle of the store!!!!

LOL. I know....I use to poo poo the little foo foos a long time ago...until I got mine. (Mine are extremely friendly and socialized....love people.) I always thought they were wussy little yappers....which they are....yappers that is. LOL. But wussy? Not unless you think running a black bear off the property is chicken hearted. Yes, Jose is my protection dog. Lyric, the Doberman protects from up on the front porch. LOL.

It takes all kinds !!! Right now the " little ones " seem to be " IN" .... dogs are replacing babies .... so they buy " kids "..... as long as they are loved and allowed to be " dogs " , let it be. Personally I love big " babies " .... but all from rescue need homes !

Hehehe I have a foo foo dog. :p

People make stupid comments though. Last week I spent the night at my sisters house, and she has a 2 year old boxer. We walked to the gas station and I stood out front with the dog while she went in. Apparently when she walked inside, the cashier said "that thing looks like it'd bite someone's head off", and my sister told him she probably would LOL. Even though Mesa's an absolute sweetheart...my sister LIKES when people think she has a mean dog. It makes her feel safer, especially when her husband is out of town for work.

I don't think the woman meant anything bad by it, though. I would probably say the same thing, but I'd mean it in a joking way. Maybe the woman wasn't joking though, I don't know...different strokes for different folks I guess, she could just not like bigger dogs.

How old is Chloe? In your siggy she is just a pup. She's adorable. How could someone be so stupid about her?

You haven't seen anything funny until you see a 100lb grt dane/mix run the length of a football field because he was afraid of the 7lb chi that was chasing him...

I've had people with "foo foo" dogs say the same...one day I was in a really foul mood and decided to say that they make great chew toys for my dogs. I don't think I've seen some one pick up her dog and leave so quick.

You mean the tan colored one is the same as the little pup? They look like a completely different color. The tan one, the older one looks so much like my son's dog who lives with me now. My goodness!

I hate those people!!!

I think the lady probably meant though, that Chloe would eat the little dog in comparison. Seeing as the little dog looked as though it wanted to start a fight it would probably lose!

I say stuff like that to Roxy when we walk by little yappy dogs (of course Roxy never makes a sound and they always go off the wall), stuff like, "It's ok Roxy, I know it's annoying but you just had your lunch!"

Yeah, I'd probably would have said something like, "She sure would... Got any ketchup?"

I used to take Emily into Petsmart and since she looked like a Dobe on steriods (120 lb. Rott mix), mostly I just got 'Whoa! BIG dog!' and then they'd walk the other way, which suited me fine. There was one stupid couple with a couple of rat terriers (does Petsmart attract more than its fair share of idiots?) who were determined to take on Emily. The stupid people paid no attention to their dogs (also had them on retractable leashes) and since I was checking out at the time, I couldn't get away from them. I stepped between Emily and the dogs and Sis went to tell the jerks to move. You know if something had happened, Emily would have been blamed...
