The green ball with feet is a Cuz......Orson has the red one with feet & horns, Bad Cuz :)

He has plenty of toys too, but he does pick and choose his favorites to wear out.

What is a wubba??

I'm lucky my three doesn't destroy toys, or at least not as fast. They do have to remove the squeaky monster out of every squeaky toys before they can be gentle to it :D, so non-squeak toys last a lot longer.

AC, I am looking for the *perfect* dobe toy too. I'm convinced it does not exist (at least not longer than a day)!

I am going to be doing one of those braided strips that was mentioned on DT from denim & fleece............he loves to tug, so I figure if it lasts a week it was worth it!

Have you tried one yet??

I have one of these and Tosca loves it. I call it Pull-Pull and it is by far one of her favorite things. SHe brings it to me nightly for tug of war. It is VERY strong. I have played some serious tug with that thing and have had it for at least three months.

The planet dog toys we bought are holding up well. :) We actually just got a wubba today and it's been fine... lasted about 7 hours so far. :)

Well since I won't be going to the petstore again until next weekend.......I will PM you Nikki before I go just to see how the Wubba is doing :D

If your crew can use it for a week, then Orson should at least get 2 weeks out of it, LOL........Phoebe won't touch toys with a ten foot pole, so Orson gets them all to himself.

She hangs out and gets loving! That's what our old Midnite did. She never liked toys, even as a pup. Bones and stuff, yes, but a ball or anything like that? Nope. I found it odd that a Retriever/GSD mix had no desire to play with toys.

Bruzer doesn't really like toys either, he has one stuffed frog that he plays with and thats it, and he only plays with that after he comes in from eating, he'll chase it a few times then he's done. When he was a pup I could get him to fetch a ball maybe 3 times and then he'd give up.

Except for tugs (which are kept out of reach until i'm ready to play) Jager doesn't like to play.

He'll play fetch with a squeak toy for a while, but if it's left around, the feet get chewed off. rope? no interest. kong that isn't stuffed? no interest. Random rubber chew toys, specifically for chewing? no interest. Tennis balls? torn apart or ignored. stuffed animals? destroyed. I have a toy basket for him, but there's really no point. It's just where he goes to get his rawhide bone when mama's done vacuuming or straightening up.

I did get a fleece tug toy at petsmart a long while back, and he LOVED it. It lasted a long time and had a handle, too.

We tried the Planet Dog toys... the boys had no interest in them.

Either way, everything is buried in the back yard right now so we're not bothering anymore, lol.

Not to sound dumb here.. but if she doesn't play, what does she do???
She runs, runs, and runs. She also enjoys jumping, and going under, around, and through any and everything she can. She can tear up a knuckle bone 2x faster than my little monster Orson, she has jaws of steal :)

She would just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be in agility.......even at age 8 she hasn't really slowed down. Sadly there isn't anything close enough for us to get her involved........time constraints do not allow us to go 30 miles away to the nearest club that I know of.

I tell you that Orson with his long legs can barely catch up to Phoebe.......she is a rocket!

Ok, Coop. By my going to bed at about 11pm last night the wubba was dead. LOL.

I suggest something by planet dog, all three of our crew likes them (they all liked the wubba as well) and Bella will actually chew on the planet dog toys (and she doesn't normally). We've had those for about 5 days and they are all intact still. :)

Oh cripes Nikki! I know that Orson would LOVE to death shake that Wubba and have all those tails flying around..........but I am not goint to pay 13.00 for yet another toy that won't make it a day :(

The planet dog balls look tough, and you guys keep saying they are........but my concern is that it will not be entertaining to him. Orson likes squeakies, stuffies, he does use his Hollee Roller (we put a tennis ball inside too) but as far as balls go, he only plays with them if we are throwing :)
