I don't have anything of Cheyanne's unfortunately. I think my mom has one of her old collars, but she got rid of everything else.

With me crew I will definitely keep and not reuse certain collars. Cricket's personalized collar with her name on it will always belong to her and only her. When she passes on (hurts to think of that possibility) I will probably keep that in a memorial box of some sort or drape it over a box containing her ashes or something.

With Bamm, I'm for sure not going to reuse his first collar. I still have the collar he was wearing the day I brought him home. He rarely ever wears it and its a cheapie collar, but it holds sentimental value.

With Joey... I haven't built an attachment to any certain collar for him yet though I'm sure in time there will be one for him.

Toys I'd probably reuse depending on the toy. Crates ill reuse and beds too. Leashes I will definitely reuse since I'm personally super attached to a few of my leads. The rest of my collars I will probably reuse since I own too many for them to just sit in a box.

Payne seldom wears a collar, basically only when she takes a trip to the vet. When she does wear a collar though, the one she wears is the one that belonged to her mother. That same collar was worn by her mothers' mother, i.e. her grandmother. In effect it's like some families who pass down certain items from generation to generation. Sadly, Payne is the end of the line, as she was spayed when she was young. There will be no one to pass the collar on to, but I think it will always remain in it's place on a hook by the door.

Both of Trent's collars have his name embroidered on them in large, bold letters. So... we probably won't be reusing those!!

His leash is just a generic 6' leather leash and I can see myself using it for another dog. Food and water bowls may actually get thrown out. They're also very generic, but have been beat up pretty badly, and I don't think I would feel a need to hang on to those. Toys are a different story, even the de-stuffed, beheaded, and thoroughly torn up ones...I see myself hanging on to all of them out of sentiment.

Crate would be re-used, and bed would be thrown out. He's used the bed all of two times and it's in bad shape (thanks, cats).

Most of Tango's collars just sit around, but not for any real reason other than they don't suit my other dogs except for a couple of them. Her crate went to Keira, and her toys went to my other toy-safe dogs. I kept her collar worn most often off limits to anyone else, and her tags, but otherwise anything else that was hers has all been passed on. I think the hardest thing was letting go of her crate and her blanket inside though, for whatever reason. I left it set up in my room for the longest time until one day it just felt right to give it to Keira.

And same with Winston and my other past dogs. While they didn't have a whole lot that was just their's, I kept each of their collars and tags and everything else (bowls, toys, beds, etc). get passed on to new/existing dogs.

I keep Argon and Neon's collars hanging on my rearview mirror. Angry Puss's harness is over the bedpost. Everything else was repurposed for foster dogs and Gambit.

Though I do imagine Argon sitting on his little cloud and clenching every time he sees someone else using this things! The ego on that one was unbelievable.

With passed animals I have kept one main collar (the one they wore most) and tag.

The rest of "personal" items (bed, their main leash, toys, collars, etc..) are thrown out or donated.
and really utilitarian things like crate, bowls, leashes etc.. are re-used.

Oh and there was this ceramic cat dish we painted at one of those "paint your own pottery" places, and my mom had that broken and collaged into this heavy picture frame. I would do something like that if merlin ever gets a proper dish.

I dropped off Mary's go to town collar at the humane society. Keeping here just hurt too much. WAs too horrified to even think of Bronki's being removed..it stayed with him. Toys and such remained for the others.

I reuse leashes, toys, beds, crates, food, meds, etc.

The only thing I don't reuse really, is collars. I keep older collars tucked away, and I have two framed pictures of a foster that I had to PTS and my beagle, and the collars that they wore when they died are hanging on the frames with their tags on them. I had them hanging at my old house, but haven't gotten them out of boxes and found a spot for them here, yet.

I've still got a pink collar that I use as a spare for Abby that was originally Poochie's (the Silky x Bichon Frise that I grew up with). I don't mind using it on occasion and I actually find it comforting when I do use it. It just brings back good memories. The collar would be 23 years old now... like I say, I don't use it often, but I'll always have that collar... even when I simply just can't use it anymore.

I'm not sure about my current dogs' stuff to be honest.

I really wish I would have done ^that with Harlow's super nice ceramic bowl that I painted... which broke. I brought it back from CO cracked in half, thinking I would find a place for it. Didn't, so I threw it away.

I have Harlow's puppy collar and leash set that is sitting in a separate place. I will probably keep that along with a special adult one. She also has a toy we call the "Weinie Links" that she has had FOREVER. Those will be kept as well.

I don't know so far with Rider... He doesn't really have anything that is "his" yet.

FutureACD has a $160.00 collar in sights... So that would probably end up being hung on the wall.

Bowls are all pretty generic, and the water bowl is used by all. Harlow is the only one with a proper dog bed, but I don't feel attached to it as "hers". I feel like there are big differences with what you do with things when you have multiple vs one dog.

I kept Ollie and Priscilla's collars and tags. They are wrapped around the box of ashes that I keep in the family room upstairs along with a picture of them.

There's of course some picture frames of them.

Horo was never really "mine", in the sense that I didn't adopt her. But she lived with me for her last few weeks before she passed away. I keep her collar with Ollie and Priscilla's, along with a picture.

Lucky (my cat) doesn't have anything that really was "hers". She never wore a collar, and never played with toys. She just wanted to be in the sun, her ashes are by the window. I know it doesn't count as "something that belongs to them" but it matters to me.

I would re-use Priscilla's toys.

I reuse pretty much everything except collars. I have a shelf in my living room with my deceased dogs' framed photos or a symbol representing and their collars sitting on each one.

I have a leather collar and tags from my first dog as child. Since then everything else gets used. For collars, I only have one for each dog, just a fursaver, and I use them on whichever they fit.

I don't put tags on my dogs, i'm such a criminal I know, those are just in a file at home so I guess I have those saved. The beds are used by all the dogs, crates, toys get used and worn out. I don't collect leashes. I have 2 leathers, two flexi's and long line for bitework and only one of those because I can only work one dog at a time. One tracking line for the same reason and a short tab leash. I've had the same ones for 10 years, except long line, i did break one of those and got a new one.

I keep their ashes, someday i'll be added to their mix :). Other than that I keep memories and pictures.

Cin's things are still in her room. They've been untouched, I couldn't bare to re use them with Luna, so I bought new stuff for her: collar, bed, toys, and water/food bowls.
