I am not going to ask you to stay if your head tells you otherwise you have to follow your heart and be true to yourself. I will miss your posts and wit but I hope that you understand not all people are good and not all people know how to express their feelings in writing and not all people put their brain in gear before their mouth is in motion. We are a diverse community here and some people take dog raising to extreme. I have said before that so long as you get your dog medical and feed it and love it you are a good owner. We raise our children differently and so do we are dogs. I have been chastised for some things I think are right too. The reason you chose to leave will leave a void because you have your side of things and I would rather see you stay and say what you have to say. I will miss you but you go ahead and do what you think is right. I am sorry though that you feel this way.

wow. I dont really know you but I have learned things from you but I also understand that you have enough crap to worry about and defend for your self why indure more when you come on a forum? I also dont think its about peoples own opinions but rather how they express it I find it a bit immature really and hope that maybe they will realize how foolish they are to "scold" someone; an adult as if it were there own child do something they dont approve of. I tend to ignore it. we are here really to learn and talk about our pets. well I know anyother forum would be lucky to have you posting.
Good post!!! Its one thing to have an opinion, its another to be condescending about it and insist that your way is the ONLY way. Some close friends of mine do some stuff with their dogs that I dont agree with but I dont beat them down about it nor should anyone else. I offer an opinion and if they take it, great! If not, oh well at least I tried. We do what works for us and it is human nature to not want to "fix what aint broken". Honestly to those who want to change a person's opinion about something, dont be jerks about, be informative about it. If the person doesnt take the advise dont blow a fuse over it, walk away and know that at least you tried. There are a lot bigger issues to worry about than beating someone over the head because they use a prong collar or something equally small.
