Outdoor Dog Run

I was wondering what other people put in their outdoor dog runs to keep the dogs entertained?
(other than doggy toys)

my aunt had one that was one section with a running toilet (one dog would seriously only drink from a toilet?!), a huge tree, a huge dog house. then that connected to a section that had a chain link "roof" and went down like 2 stairs (only the dogs really fit in there comfortably) which then opened into a larger area with some sapling trees, a HUGE metal tub for swimming, and just generally a grassy area with toys (the first two sections had mostly concrete flooring). I realize this is not normal and the dogs were outside a good portion of the day but baby pools I have heard are fairly common.

What make your dog tick? If he is a digger give him a sandbox and bury toys - If he likes to play, balls and toys - A kid pool or old bathtub works great for the hot summer months -
