Over the weekend I was at a block party that my brother and his wife were hosting. I brought Lola along and their were a lot of kids their from 2-10 years old. My nieces like when I bring Lola over as they play with her more than the dog's my brother has. At one point I had Lola on her long leash and tied it to the hand railing on the steps and went inside the house to check on something I had in the oven.
As I was coming out the door I seen some kid tapping Lola on her head with his hand and I told him that he shouldn't hit her in the head but that he should be gentle with her and if he can't be then he should not be around her. His response "Yes Dad" and I'm not even his father. Lola did not get, aggressive, growl or even try to bite him. She did not even try to get away from him. She just put up with what he was doing. I just hope that if his family does not have a dog already they wait many years to get one as he seems that he would be the child from hell with a pet.
