OUR new schnoodle

THis was my shnoodle when i was growing up. I found her in the ice of the creek, trapped when she was still very small. SHe rode my horse with me, her feet pressed hard against the saddle and her back wedged into my belly. SHe would drag my clothes to the window when i left for school and stay there until came back. SHe was just the best of dogs. Her name was Picky because she didn't like to eat anything.

THank you Mjb! PIcky was deffinatly poodle and shnauzer, she had both in her coat. THe coarse and the curly. SHe had the longest eyelashes ever if i remember right they were longer then 2 inches. It is a coat that the op will have to be diligent in keeping combed for it tangles easily. I found her when i was really small and she was mine all the way through highschool, slept with her head on my pillow much to my mother's horror. SHe was fierce in her protection of me. When Mom gave me a spanking she would have to put Picky out of the room and she would charge the door roaring her protest. IT was a game of my friends to pretend to hit me just to set her off. I imagine Pepper will be just as fine a dog.
Spanky looks a lot like your Picky in the face and in coloring. We also run into a lady walking a dog that looks like him. It always makes us laugh because, at a distance, it looks like we're approaching our own dog being walked by someone else. The lady says hers is a JRT/poodle mix.
Interesting that Spanky looks like 2 poodle mixes, but he doesn't seem to resemble the poodle part. He probably more resembles the schnauzer and the JRT. The pound did call him a terrier mix!
