Great setup!! I love it :) Ill check out the weenie cam later

and Ive noticed that rails aren't common with toys breeds, squishing babies isn't nearly as common

Update: Checked with some doxie breeders and nope, no rails! They've also never had any squished puppies.

Doxies are so easy (relatively speaking). Glad I chose the "right" breed ;-)

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I am so silly in love with my (ahem: their) dog house :) It's awesome! It does help that I finished it myself so I'm especially proud of my accomplishments.

I love the floors. It's a single sheet of vinyl "wood patterned" flooring. It has the rubber underside so it just sits on top of the subfloor with no glue or tape needed. And it's all one sheet (12x8) so there's no seams or anything. The dogs can't scratch it, tear it, and it's pee proof :) I just go in once every 2 or 3 days and sweep it then swiffer it, and I'm done!

BTW - the cubbies are about 4x4.

Didn't you just have a litter born in August or so? How many litters do you average a year?

Nice setup btw.
Yup, August 15th.

Umm... Let's see, I have 6 "breeding females" (meaning, non-spayed) - but two are puppies. So I'll say 4! :) Nothing is ever consistent so it's hard to have an average. But probably 4ish.

ETA - now that I think about it, after Jersey's litter I will have had five litters in 2009.

Why are you still breeding Jersey (or was that sophie)? Pretty positive that bitch is still under 2yrs old.

You've taken down your website so I can't be sure.

There is a website, a quick google search of the kennel name finds it. :)

On their it says Jersey's DOB is 3/08/07. I don't know what the old website had it as.
