Another Chazzer recently asked if I would post some photos of other ANCDs, because people might be interested in seeing them. I asked permission from some other owners and a few of them said sure I can post photos of their dogs. So here they are! If I get permission from other owners I will add photos.

These dogs all belong to the breed founder Ann Dresselhaus. Some are current dogs and some foundation dogs that are now gone.

This is Yarrow's grandfather

The black one is Yarrow's grandmother (at about 10 years of age)

Thank you!! I couldn't find many pictures of ANCDs apart from Yarrow (not that I'll ever get tired of looking at him lol), so it's nice to see a variety. The maternal line seems pretty consistent, and most of the others have little stop/a sloping face, which really helps give the look. Cool to see them herding, the legs are pretty amazing  lol Really really pretty dogs, thanks again for taking time!!

I'm pretty sure I need one of these dogs, and it's all your fault :p

You and Ann have been an incredible help and the more I hear (and see) of the breed, the more I like them. Big fan of Pepsi and Cola, although Yarrow will always be my favorite. Huge thanks for posting these and for responding to all those questions a while back!!

Oh, one more quick question - is Cassidy also a Cola pup? It's really interesting seeing the variety within even the dogs that are closely related.

Yep, Cassidy is a Cola pup from the same litter as Yarrow. They were the only two blacks in the litter.

Another girl with a Cola pup from this year said she would join the forum and post pics, he is just great! So I hope she does.

Got more permission, so here is Sundance owned by Diana Reed, from Pepsi x Starbuck (cousin to Yarrow)

I really like them both! Although Yarrow seems to have a more "wolfish" head (something in the ears, muzzle, and as Xandra mentioned, a more subtle stop).

Hope the other Cola pup owner does join Chaz! I'd love to hear from more ANCD owners and see more of the breed.

Yeah Yarrow does have quite a nice "lack of stop" and smallish ears. Also he has an extra full coat, a bit longer/thicker than some of the other ANCDs, which I really like.

Here are some more photos of this year's Cola x Cinnabar litter - full siblings to Yarrow. There are two from this year that I haven't got permission to post pics of, that are both really neat looking - very wolfy grey in colour and markings.

I LOVE that first dog, isn't his name Iowa? Is he a part of her breeding program or a pet?

Yep that's Iowa, he is also in the 9th photo down, on the right. He is part of Ann's program but I don't think he has actually been used yet...
