I know its impossible to tell whether its a girl or a boy just by looking at a dog. "Orchid" was actually picked out by my boyfriend. It's a flower- the "death flower" to be precise.

It was the only female name he would consider, due to the harsh sound of it. Ah well, an unusual name for an unusual girl.

I also love her name, so so much. I was going to get a Cardigan girl and name her Orchid (showname Pawcific Blue Orchid, after the White Stripes song)... it's very unique!
