Depends on the dog. Is your dog acting lethargic? How much did he eat?

Are you still feeding your dog all sorts of odds and ends?
what is meant by that last comment? i am just asking questions.

and he didn't eat any onion, i was just wondering...

i don't feed him all sorts of "odds and ends". He gets his kibble w/ some veggies, and maybe some treats, that's it.

i am just trying to make the transition from more food to less food easier for him by adding in things. i am NOT doing it just for the sake of him being "happier" it's tough being on a diet, as i know very well, and i just want the transition to be easier for him...

i don't add in anything harmful in there either - only things that are healthy and nutritious (for example, the other day i put in green beans and some melon and some carrots) i do not want to make the impression that i don't care about my dog's health - because i do, very much.

and i apologize if i came off as a person who will do anything just to make the dog happy, without any regards to their nutrition.:(

i dunno, Mary has a pint of coolwhip (lite) in the fridge just to make her happier. SHe gets a spoonful a day. On holidays they get cheeze in a can too. WHat is wrong with a little treat if their weight is maintained to make their life that much more enjoyable. Oh and they always get last bite too. Hasn't hurt my Mary a bit over her now 15 years. I don't know the answer to the onion question. Mary's favorite part of the day is her bit of cool whip:D
Forgot that Victor loves quicktrip chicken and ham sandwhich or Burger King Burgers and gets one or the other on fridays too.
