Not to mention the fact that I keep thinking back to your beginning statments about pits...and now you're a champion for them...
Who said I was a champion for them? I would like to know who told you that.

Your comments say that. You started out being very critical of them and now you always defend them.

You can Rottie but you always manage to state your opinion and accuse everyone else of being ignorant.
I dont remember ever accusing her of being ignorant. I just stated my opinion, and I made it clear that it was just my opinion.

Defending them? I just said that I wasnt against them. I also said that they are not wild.

State your opinion all you want, but don't state it like it's set-in-stone fact.
If you actually read my posts, you will see that I did state that it was just my opinion. I dont see anything wrong with that.

I could get a really in-depth response going, but A) I don't want to derail this thread anymore than it already has been and B) my attention span for stupid details has faltered unto the point of death.

I am definately missing something here. Maybe I should have thrown in a few statements such as "in my opinion...", "I think...", "perhaps...", "possibly...", etc. I just dont understand how people get me so wrong.

...because you always tell people they aren't well read and they don't know what they are talking about and you act like you know more than everyone else when you've shown that you don't...

BTW I've been meaning to ask you, is that dog sick in your siggie? The one on the right?

No, there are plenty of blunt people on this forum. You are condescending.

The dog in my sig was just sleeping. How does he look sick? Anyhow, I seriously just state my opinions. I had no idea that people felt this way about it. I really dont know what else to say about that.

I have never really thought of myself to be superior, but I am glad that it was brought to my attention.

Back to the subject... Kitcat, what age did you get frosty at, and what color was he? Has he always been that light in color? Just curious.

I got him when he was 4 months old. No, his "saddle" darkend up quite a bit and he had an almost reddish hue to it. The picture I posted was shortly after we got him and we had just taken him for a swim. Here are 2 more pictures I found.

I am glad you posted more pictures. He really is beautiful! I asked you about his color, because wolves and high content hybrids are born pure black. They lighten up with age. That is one way you could tell if he is high content or not. Is the other dog in the photo a hybrid also?

The big problem with hybrids is that as puppies, they act extremely similar to dogs. It's impossible to tell whether or not they have inherited the wolf temperament. But when they reach maturity at 1-2 years of age, their adult wolflike temperaments set in. That's when they can become extremely dominant, stranger-shy, aggressive towards other dogs, and get an extremely high prey drive.

In this case, the dog looks like it's already fully adult. Even if it is (although I really doubt it) a hybrid, it's unlikely that its temperament will change at this age. It would still make a great pet.
