I am going crazy and need help!
I want Chloe on a low protein diet, 22% max, preferably FISH based.
I thought I finally found the food Wellness Whitefish formula but she refuses to eat it, I have tried everything... it smells awful too, so I dont really blame her. Not that any dog foods smells good but this smells particularly awful.
Can anyone think of any other foods? I have been searching online all day.
The vet doesnt think she needs to be on low protein at all, but the low protein foods they recommend are Royal Canin which I dont really like... I suppose I would try it as a last resort, so opinions on this are fine too.
I did also find Natural Balance LID Salmon that is 21%, but I dont know if I like Natural Balance, I guess I could try it.
A lot of people recommend vegetarian diets because they are low protein but I will not go this route. She has NO symptoms and is very healthy overall so I dont feel it is necessary to take meat out of her diet, I think in the long run she will be healthier by keeping meat in her diet.
Oh and not to be super picky or anything but if you have first hand knowledge of the food can you tell me how big the kibbles are, I think she doesnt like that the Wellness is sooo big.
