So, I thought I'd share some older photos of my huskies and shepherd mixes, that I had to make the heartbreaking and difficult decision of rehoming :( Been missing them quite a bit the past couple days.

This is Ike. My big boy. My mom & I rescued him from an abusive situation. He was actually, at that time, my friend's dog but she left her dad to live with her mom and Ike was left behind. He constantly escaped and came straight to my house to play. After they openly admitted he was beat every time he went home, we talked them into releasing him to us.

"Oh, hi Momz"

Next to his buddy, Denali.

Denali was always the instigator & loved to play. Was hard to get shots of her lol

She was pretty large for a female, but I think this was taken when she started to gain an excessive amount of weight.

This is Sheiba, the first husky we got, that made my parents & I fall in love with the breed. She was the boss of the group, despite her small size. Super smart, when she felt like cooperating LOL She LOVED to run on skates, & knew "Hike", "Left & Right" "On-by", "Easy" (slow down to a trot) & if I clicked my tounge she would speed up.

Circle 'o Huskies... Denali's missin' in this shot. She preferred the couch.

Um, at this point.. the couch was owned by the dogs. LOL Good luck finding a spot to sit. This was taken about 4? years ago.

This is Willah. GSD/Husky X I had adopted through the rescue I volunteered with. She was such a brat... & by far was the most difficult dog to potty train that I've ever had. She wasn't completely trustworthy until she was at least a year old. But she was such a sweet girl... she usually went by the name "Missy". My neighbor actually adopted her. She lives with a young beagle & is being spoiled rotten. She was always pretty good when we fostered puppies, but wasn't as open to female puppies for some reason. She would get along just fine with male puppies, but female puppies it took her a while to get used to.

This is Nitro. He was a butt.. LOL Such a goofy, playful, STUBBORN dog! We rescued him from a couple who had bought him as a "guard dog" but he had escaped & killed their neighbors chickens so they wanted to get rid of him since he wasn't a good guard dog but he was "very aggressive". Um, this dog was a mush. His coat was so horrible... it was dry and thin and his color was washed out to a faded orange. He actually stunk too. My huskies never had an odor... he smelled awful. After being on a good diet, nice bath, and good brushing his coat turned to a beautiful liver color.

Did I mention he was part frog? LOL

"Diz is my seriouz face... does I look seriouz?"

This kinda gives you an idea of what his coat looked like. This was after he had a bath and was brushed some.

This photo kind of shows his coat starting to slowly darken.

My sweet Kelso. <3

Kelso was a GSD X. When I adopted him at 8 weeks old he was labeled as a chowchow mix, but we really couldn't see any chow. I always called him my "mini shepherd" cause he had the looks, but was small. I almost thought he was a GSD/Cattle dog X. He had a VERY high prey drive. I had to train him using only praise. He didn't like treats & as a puppy he didn't like toys. I would sometimes use a palm frawn cause that's all he would play with LOL I tried everything as far as treats and he just wouldn't eat any. If I had known where we were moving to, & that I was able to have 2 pets, I would have kept Kelso and brought him with me :( I think I miss him the most. He was such a good dog... My smelly dog.

Puppy photo... his ears were flopping up and down for quite a while. lol :)

Silly dog.

He LOVED rolling in the grass.

Okay that's all. I think I posted way too many LOL
