So, I thought I'd share some older photos of my huskies and shepherd mixes, that I had to make the heartbreaking and difficult decision of rehoming Been missing them quite a bit the past couple days.
This is Ike. My big boy. My mom & I rescued him from an abusive situation. He was actually, at that time, my friend's dog but she left her dad to live with her mom and Ike was left behind. He constantly escaped and came straight to my house to play. After they openly admitted he was beat every time he went home, we talked them into releasing him to us.
"Oh, hi Momz"
Next to his buddy, Denali.
Denali was always the instigator & loved to play. Was hard to get shots of her lol
She was pretty large for a female, but I think this was taken when she started to gain an excessive amount of weight.
This is Sheiba, the first husky we got, that made my parents & I fall in love with the breed. She was the boss of the group, despite her small size. Super smart, when she felt like cooperating LOL She LOVED to run on skates, & knew "Hike", "Left & Right" "On-by", "Easy" (slow down to a trot) & if I clicked my tounge she would speed up.
Circle 'o Huskies... Denali's missin' in this shot. She preferred the couch.
Um, at this point.. the couch was owned by the dogs. LOL Good luck finding a spot to sit. This was taken about 4? years ago.
