Did anyone used to play some of the old sim type games? I was just browsing and getting a bit nostalgic

I used to play a dog sim and a horse sim on the old AOL message boards. I think it's wrong now but we used to pretend to be dog conformation show kennels, choose pics from kennels on the web, and have pretend shows judging the conformation. Okay, so I was a total dog nerd early on.
I used to be totally addicted to Horseland, the old version. I had some huge pointed horses and was getting to be pretty big on there until they ruined it.
I played the Petz games too competitively...I was on message boards, was carefully breeding and showing my 'Dogz'. I had some awesome Great Danez and bred rare colors, hahaha.
I played neopets for a bit too, but wasn't quite into it like the others.
Did any of you play these or other games? Please tell me I'm not the only one...LOL.
