I bet if you gave her a bill for all the vet care, and your feeding and housing him--tell her to pay up, she would run the other way. ;)
Yeah, this exactly! Sheesh.
I wonder if her new guy got tired of her the way she got tired of Frankie, and that's why she wants her dog back...

I'm willing to bet that she wouldn't even recognize her own dog if she showed up to claim him anyway. After getting shaved, trimmed and vetted so that he's not constantly screaming in pain anymore.

You could do a lineup, lol.
"If you can identify your dog out of these twelve..." :rofl1:

LMAO Romy! She really probably couldn't identify him, now that he actually looks like a healthy, normal dog. Not something she's used to.

I went to your website and read his story. Did the husband leave? If my husband told me to get rid of my dog that I had for 13 years he would be down the road (the husband not the dog)!!!!

The barn that I work for found two very skinny horses wandering around in a local cemetery quite a few years back. We took them in and contacted the SPCA and they told us the owners had three months to claim them. Almost three months later after we had been feeding them, riding them, etc the owners showed up and we had to give them back.

Probably, but on the off chance that she WAS willing to pay it...I wouldn't do it.

I think the best answer in this situation is to not respond.

I whole heartedly agree. Don't respond. You are under NO obligation to have another thing to do with her. The transaction was completed. She gave you the dog. End of story. She has some nerve even emailing you.

I agree Elvis has left the building. There is no Elvis at your house. Only Anne, Jake, Rosie, Sam, Gage, Emmy, Bo, Triumph, Katie, FRANKIE, Blue, Audubon, Callie, Gracie, and Mattie.
