hey guys, my puppy has been sneezing quite alot lately.. maybe like 4-5 times a day. shes 6 and a half weeks old so im guessing shes REALLY fragile and can get sick easily..the thing is, shes still REALLY energetic though, she runs around and all that.. are there any signs that can tell me if she is sick?

PS: i been posting alot of topics lately sorry! just want my puppy to be healthy:)

Don't apologize for posting lots of questions, it's better to ask. That's what we're here for.

She might just have an allergy that she's sneezing. Mine do that every once in awhile but they're not sick.

If she were sick, I wouldn't expect her to be running around with energy. I would think she would be tired, not eating well, etc.

I agree with Barb04 that sick pup wouldn't be that active and with good appetite. I also think 4-5 times per day sneezing lasting a few days without any other signs of ailment is not a reason to get alarmed. Of course you should watch her carefully to see if there are any changes, but I mean dog is dog, she may sneeze a little like we do:) Good that you are on the look-out about your beloved puppy, but I would advise you not to overdo:) Of course, if sneezing doesn't stop in a week or so or even progress you should vet her. Let us know how she is doing!

She may have simply gotten some carpet fuzz or something like that up her nose. But I agree with the others that it is probably allergies but it wouldn't hurt to get her checked by her vet. Boy, she is awfully young. Did you breed to get her? Surely no breeder would let her go to her new home at that young of an age???

What was done? That sounds like a bit much to me

Is your pup doing her puppy vacs? Because you make it seem like she's never been to the vet?

Good Luck!

Please, post ANY questions you have, trust me, it makes us happy :D ;)
