Congrats! I remember when I got Kharma, I had to wait a loooong time for her because her mother had just had a litter when I met the breeder. SO I had to wait for the mother to be ready to give birth again, which took almost a year, and then for her to be born, and then to see if there were any girls(5 kittens, all girls LOL) and THEN waited some more until she was old enough to take home (12 weeks) I'm amazed I didn't keel over and die fom the waiting.

If all goes well, the pups will be born around the 10th of November, and I'll have a puppy early next year. Woooo. I haven't been so excited about anything since I was a kid waiting for Christmas!!

Because I've only spoken to her by phone about 5 times, and only met her and her dogs once. I do think she liked me though, and the way she was talking, it sounded like she will probably let me have one. If all goes well, I will give her a deposit when the pups are around 10 days old. Good thing I only live a couple of miles away from her, and got in contact before the mating even took place.

Sorry, been away for a bit, any way, here's an update.

My dog has been born!!!

She was born at 1 am on the 15th of November. I get to visit her after she is around 2 weeks of age, and get to take her home around the 7th of January. I can't wait, I'm soooooo happy. I'll post some pics of her when I get to visit, and after I get her.

That must be soooo exciting! I remember seeing Bodhi when she was 1 week old (although - I hadn't actually picked her then).. It is amazing how quickly they change!

That's awesome! I knew a mini snauzer (sp?) when I was young he was a really good dog. I am sure you will be very happy and you have done very good work researching breeders and your breed.
