Now I start my search.

After all my research on Dogs on the Internet and reading 5 books, 4 of them being dedicated to Mini Schnauzers, and 1 book "How to raise a puppy you can live with," now I will start to contact some breeders. I have 2 lists of breeders from within the UK and I'm prepared to travel to find my special little girl.

If you wanna give me some advice, as I'm always open to new ideas and information, please go ahead.

Thats great news. Now the hard part comes. Try to find some way to occupy yourself so you don't die of anticipation.lol

The breeder phoned me back today. She said contact her around the end of September. A litter of salt and peppers should be ready for around the end of the year. Obviously I'm not gonna be guaranteed a pup, but it's a step in the right direction.

Yeah I read through the "How to raise..." in 2 days. Seemed really good. I'm gonna read through it again soon though, along with my other books.

Bump. Contacted another breeder today, and she said she sold out, BUT, she has a friend who has some on the way. She's gonna phone me back on Monday.

I recieved an e mail from the schnauzer club here in the UK. She said she knows someone with a black and silver pup available. Gonna call tomorrow and get more details, wish me luck.

The only thing I know is it's a pup, and it's black and silver. I don't know the sex, and ideally I'd much prefer a bitch.

I phoned and he said he didn't have one. Strange considering I only got an e mail last night saying he did. Maybe he didn't like me?
