The title pretty much says it all.

I really appreciate the support I've received from everyone here. This place has been fantastic. So many great, helpful, friendly people. I'm so glad I found this forum...it's really helped me through a tough few months.

So thanks. Catch you later.

Honestly...she didn't seem particularly convinced that there was anything wrong with her. She didn't make a fuss about me deciding to bring her back, but she did go onnn and on about "Oh, puppies have funny legs. They look all gangly and limpy...it's usually nothing" and "Oh...she looks the picture of health". Which isn't quite the truth.

But I did provide her with all of Nova's medical records (which was about 30 pages worth - including lab results). She said she'll take it all to her vet and just start from square one...which is fair.

Regardless of whether or not she thinks the dog is actually ill...I got a really vibe from her about the situation. She was loving all over Nova and really excited to see her. And Nova was all over her. And she went on about how beautiful she was and so sweet and that she'd be living in the house until she was sure she was healthy enough to go in with the two other pups from her litter that she kept... I feel good that Nova will adjust well and be happy. And I hope she'll eventually be healthy too.

I'm glad it sounds like it's going to work out- I really think you did the best for Nova. I don't think she'd be up for quarantine at all. :( ((Hugs))

I am sorry, that sucks. I know because I too returned a pup after having her for a while back to the breeder and it isn't easy on any level.

I am glad she took the puppy back openly and lovingly. THat is the mark of a good breeder. I am glad that you felt good about it and wasn't left with a horrid feeling. You did what you had to do and bless your heart for trying everything that you did. ((((HUGS))))

(((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))) You did right by her.

Now, stick with us . . . . you can have hundreds of pups by proxy here for the time being until it's time for one of your very own :)

I don't know the story, but from what I've gathered reading just this thread it sounds like you did the right thing for Nova. But still, I'm very sorry for your loss. ((((hugs))))

Is the breeder going to keep you updated on her progress? I hope they figure out whats wrong!
I'm sure she would...but I'm not really interested. It would be too hard to hear updates on her. Maybe I'll be strong enough later...but right now I'm just trying to forget. Thinking about her at all makes me too upset.

I couldn't have really managed it even if I wasn't going anywhere. Her problems were going to be neverending... Unfortunately I'm not made of money. And it was gutwrenching watching her fall apart at such a young age. :/

The move just made it slightly easier to decide. :(

sorry you had to go through this--I so hope Nova will do well, and you will be able to find a pup that is healthy and strong.
