Nice work. Not an easy thing to do with a lot of dogs at all. So did you train that? or is he just weird? or both? :)
Both, definitely both.

He loves to be on things, a lot. Always has from sleeping on tables to walking on back of couches to perching on cars. Add that to being rewarded by either me laughing or treats or what have you when he does stuff like this it makes him even more keen to do that.

He also knows "up up" as his get on something cue so if I say that he looks for things to get up on, sometimes taking it more litterly than I meant like in the time with the drinking fountain.

It's become pretty self rewarding.

I also like it for his balance so I do a lot of training with him standing on things that move or doesn't have a big base etc.

And Beanie, I just tell him he's special :rofl1:

He could be an honorary basenji with his desire to stand on random things :D

It's so cool for me to see The Loon do stuff like that, lol. Bimmer did stuff like that ALL the time when he was younger, and at the farm there was always something he could elevate on

Renee, it sure makes for a fun dog I gotta say. And seems to be pretty common in Koolies so that makes me very very happy because I love it.

I remember a couple weeks ago I went into my room at night ( no light) and could not find him even though I knew I put him in there. He was siting perched on a shelf in the corner of the room just watching me feel around trying to find him
