o_O I was at a dog park today with Jack and came across a lady with a dog that looked like an English springer spaniel / border collie mix. We talked for maybe 45 minutes, telling me how it was a new breed and she had 3 more at home. She showed me pictures in her wallet and I still say they looked like ESS & BC mixes, sometimes they look more like an ESS than a BC and vice versa.

Anyway, she told me they were North Gate Whistler Spaniels and I'm wondering if it's:
A) A misinformed by the misinformed (she kinda seemed like a BYB to me, so I doubt it)
B) A BYB hybrid
C) A new, still-developing dog breed?

I got realy confused there and google shows me nada. x.x

I tried Googling a few different variations on the name, and found a "Northgate Springers". I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but here's the site: http://www.northgatespringers.com/index.html
They appear to be successful show breeders, not BYB. Maybe some kind of misunderstanding on the part of the lady at the park?
