Every Thing is more expensive in Canada. I remember driving to Maine all the time to get cheap groceries and gas all the time.

The US dollar is worth more then the Canadian so that really jacks the price up here. I agree on the way to expensive and way to many taxes but that is another debate all together.

Ok I just found another retailer. What do you think of these prices.$10.99 for 5 lb,$36.99 for 33lbs and $66.99 for 40lb.This is canadian funds though.
That is the price at Berry's Pet Food. I just bought a 5lb bag of all lifestages Candidae for Faith [kibbles are alot smaller for her] it was $10.99 Canadian. She will go on my Kirkland Signatures Chicken and Rice all lifestages when the 5 lb bag is gone. KS is $20 for 40 lbs and I find the ingredients better in the KS. You can get a membership for $50 a year there too.

Yeah I told Norm we should get a membership.I dont have that kind of cash till after christmas though. The 5 lb is lasting forever since I dont have to feed as much as the old food.
Yeah it has the same feeding instructions as the KS! I have both here and I read the bags, but I really prefer the ingredients and price of the KS. There is alot more meal in the Candidae and Chicken is way down on the ingredients where in KS it is #1.

yuckaduck - re: chicken

you want chicken meal, lamb meal etc. to be listed before chicken, lamb and so on. keep in mind that "wet" meat contains about 75% water, which is removed in the manufacturing process.

meat in meal form is already dehydrated and doesn't shrink, so a food that only contains the meat but not meal ultimately contains more grain, which is why the kirkland signature food is a lot cheaper than canidae.
