What's yours?

With us, because we have so many dogs, it's rather annoying. Two of us go out with all of the dogs - two of the dogs are on leash. We pee and poo until they're all just playing, instead of doing buisness, then we bring them inside, and feed them - which again, is a two person routine.

That's usually all they get until around 5 in the morning, when my mom gets up and quickly lets them out if they need it. And then they're let out again at 7 or 8.

However, I've noticed Psyche's been peeing in her crate at night. She came to us 'house broke' but she was also kept in her crate most of the time, so I doubt she sees it as her 'place', and therefore has no problems peeing in her bed.

So now we're changing it up. Feeding (our dogs only get fed once a day), and then taking them out in groups. The four Mini Aussies together, with the older GSD and the Great Dane, and then Bella and Psyche each on their own. It takes longer, but it enssures that each dog gets their thing done.

Are yours big ordeals like ours or are we crazy (well, other then being crazy for having 8 dogs!)?

I have one dog who is free fed and wee wee pad trained, :lol-sign: It doesnt get much easier than that.

I usually check his water dish before I go to bed and make sure it hasnt gotten dirty or empty since I changed it at dinner time.

My dogs go out in the back yard around 9:30 or 10pm for their last potty break, and then at about 11 everyone goes to bed, and the dogs get put in my room. They sleep in the closet of their own choosing. I have blankets in there and such. Sometimes Daisy sleeps on the floor.

Oh! As to where mine sleep, incase you didn't guess, is in crates. We have a "dog room", which really used to be our dining room, but we just use the kitchen. The only one who's allowed out at night is Sasha. And that's cause I doubt we'd find her a crate big enough, and the old girl's 11!

My 3 go out about 10 mins before I go to bed. It's not a huge ordeal, I leash them up take them out to potty. They do their thing pretty quickly. I make sure they have a full water bowl. All I have to do is say bed time and they all run to the bedroom and wait for me to get into bed before they jump up.

Armani needs to learn this part.

He gets comfy in bed first and then if I can figure out a way to be comfortable around him, great! If not... I can toss and turn all night thats fine with him.

Well dinner for the animals is served pretty late around here - usually about 9pm. About an hour after that Sierra will go out for her last pee of the night. Either Matt or I take her depending on who's turn it is (we rotate).

At bedtime, Sierra comes into the bedroom with us and the cats get closed out (which I wish we didn't have to do, but the bedroom door has to be closed at night, and they need to use the litterbox during the night so it doesn't make sense to close them in with us).

I let the Tollers out every night right before bed (usually 1am), Dance first, then Spring. Otherwise Spring pesters Dance. That takes 5mins, then we go to my room, where both are put into their crates. Not a big deal at all. :)

Mine go out in pairs - any time between 9 and 11 depending on what time I'm going to bed. The mals go out first then the corgis. Then Nyx gets crated and either Morgan and Ares or Tyr sleeps with me. I prefer Morgan and Ares. Lately though Ares hasn't been because he seems to be allergic to my sheets :( Whoever isn't sleeping with me gets crated.

Well, my mom's dogs (Elliot, Daggett, Charlotte, Jannah, and Reese) are already in her room by the time I go to bed, cause they are in there all day pretty much!

But with my dogs, I go out with them for about 20 minutes before bed, make sure everyone goes to the bathroom..and then go upstairs lol. Pretty easy night time routine. They are free fed, but in my room I have no food available for them.

I don't think we have a night time routine. I let the dogs out sometime before we are ready for bed and then they just fall asleep on the couch and then that's it. When we are ready we turn out the lights and head to bed and that is that.

I work swing shift so we have odd hours. We usually go to bed around 3am. After eating around 1am they go out and then 2 hours later out again and off to bed. They sleep with me on my bed. When i wake up btwn 9-10 Deniro is on my bed and Gabbi is on her bed. I don't know if I kick her off in my sleep or she gets too hot. Usually i see Deniro's face right next to mine. Oh I give them a treat when we get upstairs.

Because we usually have 2 indoors and 2 outdoors its not really a big deal.
Sophie and Harry are usually our first, I give them their food and leave them to it while I go in and organise Mac and Buster's food, then we swap them over and leave Mac/Buster outside for 30 - 60 minutes then bring them all indoors once it starts to get cold/dark.

The big deal is giving them all their supplements, if they are eating a bony meal I can't really add fish oil and glucosomine so I have to break 2 of each into cat food for each dog. That is the annoying fiddly thing to do.

We don't really have a set routine. They get their last meal before 7 p.m. and the water bowl gets emptied at 8 p.m. It's easiest that way, with house training puppies. Right before I go to bed (which varies depending on the night), I take everyone out to potty. Then we come inside, the ones that sleep in crates go there and the ones that sleep in bed with us settle down for the night.

Routines with Meg couldn't get much easier. Depending on when I'm home, sometime between 5 and 7 pm, I give her 1/3 cup of her food. She eats it immediately, and I change her water. We generally hang out on the couch, watch TV, or I play on the computer while she sleeps on the ottoman behind me. Before I go to bed around 10, I'll open the front door for her. 95% of the time, she'll turn around and go back upstairs instead of outside - if she does have to go out, she goes out on her own, pees quickly, and comes right back in. She settles down on the bed while I do a final email check, then we curl up and go to sleep.

LOL! Mine too. I go to bed every night and find Summer right in the dead center of my bed. I say 'Alright, get up'. She gives me a look of hatred then moves to my pillow and waits for me to get comfy then I say 'go night night'. and she curls up next to me.

Our routine is the dogs get free fed. I've found with the little papillons they're really good about managing their own weight. They tend to nibble around the clock. I put food out in the morning for them and by dinner, they've eaten it all, so I put out a bit more. They eat while we eat. There's water out all the time, but it gets changed a few times a day. At night, Trey sleeps wherever he wants, Nard sleeps in Emily's room, Summer sleeps in my room, and Beau and Rose sleep in Dad's room. We let them go potty right before we go to bed.

It's not a big deal here. Right before bed we'll let them out to potty and then I take Jack to bed, Mini and Kyra sleep with my parents and Micki with my brother. My mom usually gets up around 7am, so I'll open up my bedroom door and Jack will go downstairs where he's fed and let outside with everybody else.

I have one dog. LOL.

She's really low maintainance. I let her out about an hour before I go to bed. I feed her in her crate, usually her kibble followed up by a bone to chew on. Right before I go to bed, I let her out again.

The puppy's nighttime routine lasts all night. He gets dinner at around 6, I let him out every 2 hours until I go to bed at about midnight. Then every 4-5 hours until I get up in the morning.

he hasnt learned the get up part, he squeezes his eyes shut tight and pretends he cant hear me.

I am convinced he thinks it is HIS bed and he is doing me a favor by letting me squeeze in there.
