I have to wonder what it is like to sit back and see yourself as they have had to do. I am not fond of women's voices in general, but a couple of those just made me want to leave the room. WHen you consider a dog's hearing is all the more sensitive i wonder what it is like for them? My old boss always told me not too much chatter, keep it simple, and low, when you correct put a growl in your voice. Something i was trying to teach Hyia this morning. When she told VIctor to heel i told her she sounded like a baby rabbit and if she wanted dogs to take her seriously she was going to have to lower her voice a bit. ONe woman in particular, just omg that was painful to listen to. Bill and star have my heart forever. Good people there. THe growl bands infuriated me and frankly i am glad her dog bit her, she dang well deserved it, I would have done much worse. I have thought long and hard how i would have gotten VIctor to show anger for a photo. THe only thing i could come up with would be for me to walk over and show another dog affection...or say the word OLlie
I am sure his facial expression would have said it all on that one. It was a tough word. Most of the words were a cake walk. BIll and STar's accomplished well for someone that says there isn't a creative gene in his whole family. Stubborn was a tough word too. I am glad he gave up on hold it, that is something that takes a lot of time and patience to teach correctly.
