Hi,
I'm Lauren and my husband and I have added a new love to our family. Her name is Kaya and she is an American Black Lab. She is 7 months old. She is a really great dog but certainly a lot of work. We are new to raising a puppy and can't say that it has been all "sunshine and puppies"..
her newest "trick" is counter surfing..and we are at our wits end with it. Nothing seems to deter her...we are trying to keep things off the counter but sometimes we slip...so far she has chewed 2 pairs of my glasses, 1 pair of sunglasses, my husbands wallet and all contents, 12 cookies, 4 doses of heartworm medicine..and various other things that i just can't seem to remember all of them....
so that is our story and i hope to be able to find some good advice to help our family work together as a happy human, happy dog family..
