Hi! I'm new! my name is Shelly. I'm 17 and own a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Daphne. I show and train her myself. We have 2 titles and a CGC pass so far.

Hi and welcome to Chazhound! I'd love to see pics of your dog, I am really interested in that breed. We have some other Toller owners on here as well. I'm sure you'll learn a lot here and I hope you enjoy the forum :D

i heard today's test was a hard one, so i hope tomorrows is a bit better. Though she is marking at over 100 yards now(and picking up the bird from there) so i hope it'll be ok.

and i hope the water goes ok too. i couldn't get our training bird wet or it would have gone rancid, but i have build up her strength in water(she's only been swimming since july and is already doing water entries!!!) and worked on/perfected her commands.

good news is, she's inharited the trait of not breaking, so we have an advantage. :)

Hello & welcome to Chaz. The 1st time I ever saw a Toller was in 1996 When I took April to agility training & the instructor had one. My 1st thought was a different color border collie. Seen a few since doing doggy dancing, agility & obedience. Look forward to hearing more about your baby.

Welcome! I recognize you from the Toller board, but Daphne is as beautiful as always. :)

On a side note, I wish Dance had ears as nice as she does! Oh well, I love her anyway. Lol, next time I get a Toller pup though, I'm going to try and make sure it has the biggest ears to hopefully ensure that they fall nicely.
