Hi , I have been reading for a few days now, and I have to say thank you all for some wonderful information as well as quite a few laughs. I hope to get pictures posted of all 9  of our dogs, but for now I will start with our newest.

His name is Luke - 12 weeks in this picture

Our first was a Caroline a cocker spaniel - she is 8 now
Then came Foster - a golden - he is 7

This was all we planned to have.

But Roxanne needed to be rescued, she is a small roddy/Doberman mix. We are not sure of her age, maybe 4-5 years. Vet said she had a scar and was probably fixed. But she wasn't and this was before we had fenced the yard and Baby was born. Baby's dad was a corgi mix down the street.

After we fenced in our yard , and we rescued Chance a lab mix - 4 years
Then came Lola a brittiany mix ,- 3 years.

At this point the dogs outnumbered the humans and we considered our house hold quite full.

But Neko - lab mix ran out in front of car on a dark deserted stretch of road
and Bailey - no idea what he is mixed with, wandered in the front door one day and never left.

Once you are used to having 4/5, whats one more. It helps to have 3 teen age kids that love them all very much and help out taking care of them.
