You hit printscreen and that's it - there's a jpg on your desktop. You don't have to open Paint if you don't want to. So in a PC, it's ONE key. Done.

I use Gadwin Print Screen so may be forgetting. That's how Gadwin works, anyway

Is it possible to copy an apple printscreen into another app, or does it only make the jpg?

But even with the jpg on the desktop if you want to edit it you still have to open the file.

In fact it's harder that way because you have to minimize the screen you're at currently and then open the jpg off your desktop, edit it, then re-maximize the previous screen.

On PC you just open paint, pop in the picture, crop it, save it, done.



But if you can crop it without opening a program on a Mac, then kudos to mac for saving a step I guess.

well for my purposes it's much easier because i'm usually trying tos how someone something so i just load it directly into flickr.

Here is a question for you, on a mac if you press the apple3 button what ever to put the jpg right on the desktop, if you do it lets say 5 times then will it put 5 jpg's on the desktop?

Then a Mac is better than a PC on that front. lol On a PC you hit the print screen button and have to paste it into paint every time.

Doesn't have to be paint though scob.........it can be any program you have for pics, LOL

You can even print screen and paste it directly into an email if you are so inclined.....don't know why you would be, but hey, I won't judge :rofl1:

My only issue is the amount of white space on either side, so the forum looks small. Other than that, it is easy on the eyes and still set up nicely.

I still haven't voted yet... but I'm not really liking how this skin doesn't fit to the size of the page like the other did... when I have it on full window, I see an inch of white on each side... and when I min it, I have to do more scrolling.

I don't much like the colors, but I could probably get used to them. I wasn't a huge fan of the old colors either.

I would much prefer a fluid width and more padding.

Why can't there be more than one style?
