It sounds like she's just acting like a prey driven dog. You need to train her to NOT go after birds, especially yours.

Growling is not acceptable !! Please give us more info on where you got her and at what age.

Ask RoxysCD (I think) what she did with her Rot mix Roxy. She may be able to help you with the growling/agression issue.

It might be a good idea not to let your pup on the couch untill she has earned it by not growling at you.

It would help show her place and make you the more dominant one if she had to stay on the floor.

Good luck with her . She is beautifull. I had a Husky years ago and he was one of the best dogs I ever had.

i got her at eight weeks from a breeder and she was actually acting very friendly and the whole time i was there the car ride she stuck her head behind me and when i got home that night she was at first afraid to go in the kennel at all untill i kinda helped her but later when i wanted to take her out tso she could go potty and eat etc. she growled at me and things have just gotten worse from there. i she knows sit pretty well but if you touch her butt or try and pick her up and hold her for to long she flips out and makes really odd noises. ishould probably add that everything was fine at her last vet appointment to get her shots and she weighed in at 19 pounds but other than that im a little lost.
